TexToPix is a great software which allows users to transform and insert text into images as they want.

The main idea of TexToPix is quite simple. You take some text, (few phrases, words or even few characters), select an image that you like to mimic and program will generate an image that when viewed from a distance looks like the picture and when looked close - you may see every single character and read the text.

Unlike most of existing ASCII-Art image programs (including our BG_ASCII), TexToPix uses a much more sophisticated approach. Main difference - you don't limited with fixed width font faces. Your Text-o-Pictures can be made from any font installed on your system. You may create black and white, grayscale or color images.

Resulted image can be saved as a raster image file or as vector based Windows metafile (.wmf).
